SQUARE PARKS is developing another business park in Hamburg
• Purchase of a 10,000 square meter plot of land at Albert-Schweitzer-Ring 29
• Project development of an ESG-compliant new building with areas for last-mile logistics, production, crafts and other services
• Completion is planned for Q1 2028
Hamburg, March 10, 2026 – SQUARE PARKS, together with an investor, is planning the development of another commercial and industrial park in the Wandsbek district of Hamburg. The project will be built on a plot of land measuring approximately 10,000 square meters at Albert-Schweitzer-Ring 29.
The plan is to implement a modern and sustainable multi-tenant concept with small, modularly combinable units with integrated office space by the first quarter of 2028. The spaces are aimed particularly at small and medium-sized enterprises from the last-mile logistics, production, craft and service sectors, which rely on flexible and efficient space structures as well as good urban location connections.
The purchase of the property has already been completed, so the project is proceeding on a speculative basis. REALOGIS Hamburg is acting as an advisor to the owner.
Henning Nietz, Managing Director of SQUARE PARKS, says: “Like every business park built by SQUARE PARKS, this one is being developed according to current ESG requirements and certified according to the DGNB standard. The urban location with good access to the A24 motorway is a key investment criterion.”
The individual units are designed so that they can either be rented separately or flexibly combined, depending on user requirements. In addition, a large rental unit is planned to accommodate increased space requirements at the location.
Access is via ground-level sectional doors and, in some cases, via truck loading ramps. The modular building structure creates a versatile floor plan with high potential for alternative uses, enabling diverse usage profiles from production and crafts to service and technology-oriented businesses within a single location.
